In the 3rd match of Super Eight stage Pakistan Beat South Africa by 2 wickets.

Earlier South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. They opened with RE Levi and HM Amla but this gamble didnt pay well as HM Amla departed when the team score was just 8. Later RE Levi and JH Kallis also got out after scoring 8 and 12 runs respectively. JP Duminy’s 48 finally helped them post a total of 133/6 in 20 overs.

Chasing 134 to win, Pakistan team got off to the poor start as they lost Imran Nazir in the 3rd over of the match. Later Mohammad Hafeez also got out after scoring 15 runs in 9 balls. But Umar Akmal and Umar Gul then brought Pakistan back into the game. Umar Akmal scored a brilliant 43 off 41 balls and was ably supported by Umar Gul who scored 32 off 17 balls and helped Pakistan win the match by 2 wickets in the last over.
