The stylish Indian all rounder Yuvraj Singh has successfully won the battle against cancer and will now be seen in action in the Twenty20 World Cup.

Krishnamachari Srikkanth the head of the selection committee said, “I am glad to say that Yuvraj is fit. I appreciate the effort he has put in. It was crucial that he got back in the team and we are really keen on winning the World Cup for the second time.

Along with Yuvraj, it was a comeback call for off spinner Harbhajan Singh who was rested from the squad due to poor performance. Piyush Chawla and Laxmipathy Balaji were also included in the 15 member suad
